Light and Dark is an online literary journal founded in 2017. At present it features only works of short fiction, but hopes to grow to include poetry as well in the near future. It is headed by lead editor, Kevin Marchand, a graduate of Roger Williams University’s creative writing department. He decided to start an online magazine to help bring quality literature that dares to deal with both the light and dark elements of life to a wider audience.

Kevin Marchand is the fiction editor of Light and Dark. A graduate of Roger Williams University’s creative writing program, he is now pursuing an MA in English Literature 
from Southern New Hampshire University. He lives in California and continues to write fiction of his own. His stories have appeared in such magazines as Minetta Review (Forthcoming), The Main Street Rag, Remarkable Doorways, Provo Canyon Review, and Flash Fiction Magazine.
